Light fixtures are like the icing on the cake. I like to think of them as the jewelry of my home! While it’s common for home owners to ignore swapping out light fixtures when updating a room, it’s easily one of the most overlooked and important improvements to make.

Most of the light fixtures in our home are builder basic. Although I hand-picked our light fixtures when we built our house, my choices reflected a tight budget and what was once a slightly different taste than I have now.
