Spring Bedding for Every Budget
Your bedroom is your oasis. A space in your home for you to retreat from the chaos of the everyday. It should feel relaxing, calming and a place for rest. Since we often spend so much time in our bedrooms, I love to do a bedding refresh a few times a year. During the fall and winter, I like to add in lots of layers and textures for a warm and cozy feel. Now that spring is nearly here, the sun is shining and temps are rising, it’s time to pull back the layers to a light and breezy but still cozy space.
There is no shortage of bedding options out there but it can be daunting and even overwhelming to choose new textiles for your bed. Hopefully, I can help! I am rounding up some bedding options that caught my eye at 3 different price points. First, I am sharing some of my favorite higher end bedding options from Serena & Lily. The quality of their textiles can’t be beat! The Company Store has some really beautiful duvets and comforters that are average price and a great quality. Lastly, I found some great budget friendly collections at Target. As an added bonus, I purchased two sets from Target and styled them in our bedroom to share with you!
Serena & Lily
Serena and Lily is a vibe. The style is light, bright, airy, coastal and chic. While their price point is on the higher end, the quality of their products is amazing. I have never purchased a product from them I didn’t love when I received it, including their bedding. Buying textiles from Serena and Lily is definitely a small investment but they will last you for years to come. Below are some of my top picks from their collections, including duvet covers and quilts.
The Company Store
The Company Store is all about comfort. Their bedding is relaxed and top quality. Best yet, the price for their quality is amazing! The fabric is always soft and they offer so many color options and patterns, including kids bedding! I’m sharing some of my favorite bedding sets from them below!

Target
Everybody’s favorite store. We all go there with one item on our list and come out with much much more. I made a trip recently to scout out the bedding collections for spring and to my delight, I found several beautiful options at a great price point. While browsing the bedding aisle, I found so many pretty patterns and colorways! Below I linked some of my favorite options in my favorite colors; blue, green and gray.
Bonus! Budget - Friendly Options IRL
While at Target, I chose my favorite two ( in blue, of course) to bring home and try out in our space.
The first option is this MontClair Hotel Comforter set by Threshold. It is a complete bed-in-a-bag, including a comforter, 2 pillow shams, 2 euro shams, 2 throw pillows, and a bed skirt. This set drew me it due to the color and patterns. It feels very summery and beachy, which makes for a great S&L dupe. Pros: the comforter is really soft and light-weight, great for the warmer months. It comes with everything you need to style your bed perfectly. I love the stitching detail around the edges and on the pillow shams. Cons: The material on the comforter seems to bunch up in places due to the stitching and may not wash up well. The two throw pillows are rather hard, no karate chopping those bad boys. Overall, its a beautiful set and at $89.00 for a king size set, a great deal!
Disclaimer: The bedding set comes with navy euro shams and a navy bedskirt. In the photos below, I swapped out the navy euro shams for my own white shams since we have a dark headboard. I also did not use the bedskirt, as my bed does not need one.

The second option I snagged at Target was the blue Connelly Stripe Quilt set by Threshold. This set comes with a light weight quilt, 2 king size pillow covers and a lumbar throw pillow. I am in love with the color of the stripe, the perfect pale blue. The quilt is reversible and you can use the solid blue side as well. We love to sleep with our down filled blanket in our duvet, so this is a great option to add some color and pattern to a white bed. It also serves as a lighter weight option to cover up with as the weather changes. This quilt is really, REALLY soft and I imagine would get better with time. Coming in at just $69.00 for a king set, this is a steal!
I styled this set two different ways First, I folded the quilt down and laid it across the bottom of the bed. The second option, the quilt is spread out to cover more of the bed for a added color.
