Fall Entry Table Styled Three Ways
I am beginning the transition of our home decor to more moody and warmer tones for fall. (My personal favorite season!) One spot I love to restyle throughout the year is our entryway. It’s so easy to switch up the decor for an entry table without too much effort or money. I received a handful of requests for entryway styling so I am here to deliver our fall entry table styled three ways along with a few tips I like to follow.
Entry(3)ways
Option #1
For option #1, using warmer tones, I opted to focus the look around the floral arrangement. I balanced it with tall candle sticks in a complimenting color and a vintage art piece on the wall. I then added in layers of books for dimension.
option #2
In option #2, I used an arched mirror as the focal point but set it off to the side for an asymmetrical look. The large vase and greenery on the opposite side help to balance the look. Finally, I added in layers with a wood pedestal tray and a cute pumpkin. Overall, this is a more neutral look that could be used year round.
Option #3
In option #3, I again used the mirror as the focal point but centered it for symmetry. I then framed out the mirror with taller greenery and vases. I added in texture through the use of books and pumpkins in the center.
Tips to Style By
Focal Point
Start your design with a large focal point. Usually centered, a large mirror or piece of art are perfect for drawing your eyes in. You could opt for the focal point to be off to one side for an asymmetrical look.
add height
Adding height can help to frame out the piece you choose as your focal point. You could use a table lamp, large vase with stems, or candlesticks to achieve this look.
Layer it on
Adding the final touches with small pieces in groupings or layers adds interest. This can be done with a stack of books, a candle, photo frame, a small pumpkin, or beads.
All of these tips can be applied to entryway tables, but also when styling consoles, buffets, or dressers. Add in different elements (greenery, wood, beads, books) to add texture and dimension but remember to keep it simple.
