5 Ways to Style your Front Porch for Spring & Summer

It is time to transition your home decor to spring and summer vibes. One place I think is important to address is the front porch. You want it to be welcoming to guests and a reflection of your home. Increase your curb appeal by adding in layered rugs, greenery, large pots and a wreath. Although it’s still too early for real plants and flowers in our area, I am planning out our front porch decor for the warmer seasons.

I love to flank the front door with taller plants or trees but I have a hard time keeping them alive (no green thumb here!). This year I am opting for some faux options for the taller trees and will fill in with live plants later in spring. A few months back I had the inside of our front door painted a pretty blue (Water’s Edge by Benjamin Moore) and plan to have the exterior of the door painted as soon as the weather allows. Below I am sharing 5 ways to style your front porch this summer, all with a Simply Singharath style.
